Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. (CAA) has recently introduced Fire Prevention Services to the range of professional services they offer to local agencies. CAA is expanding to provide the entire range of public safety services including:

Project Review and Recommendations
Project review and recommendations for large complex projects which involve complex fire protection designs, application of alternate means and methods, and or special hazards associated with the project.

Review and Approval
Review and approval of building fire and life safety design evaluating access, water supply, type of construction, egress design, firefighter access, application of high rise provisions and proposed construction of special systems such as smoke control.

Plan Review
Plan review of fire protection systems including automatic fire sprinklers, fire alarm systems, special hazards such as commercial hood fire protection and rack storage as well as the evaluation of hazardous processes such as flammable liquids and hazardous materials.

Field Inspection
Field inspection of all aspects of fire safety to confirm compliance with the approved plans and compliance with both State and Local requirements.

The Fire Prevention Services provided by CAA may include full fire prevention services, special project review management and approval or temporary support for periods of peak demand or staffing difficulties.
